Principal’s Message

It is an exciting time at Westside K8 School. We are continuing to strive for excellence and show our Warrior Pride. The first nine weeks has ended and students have received their report cards. I am extremely proud of the hard work students have exhibited and the many students who received awards for Honor Roll, Personal Success, Perfect Attendance and Character Achievement. It is the direct result of making learning a priority for all.

We recently celebrated Red Ribbon Week in honor of students saying, “No!” to drugs and violence. Please take a moment to have discussion with your child about the importance of Red Ribbon Week and making all communities safe.  As we approach the Holiday season, please look for communication being sent home or in the virtual backpack about programs and events for our Westside families. Quarterly, we issue a school newsletter that has highlights on school information, events and important dates.

Are you looking for ways to get involved with Westside K8 School? We are looking for OASIS approved Volunteers who can assist us in various areas of the school. In order to be a volunteer you must be approved through our OASIS office and can contact Mrs. Robyn Jones at 407-390-1748 for more information. We also would like to increase our school and community connections by developing viable business partnerships. If you are interested, please contact Ms. Jones so that a meeting can be scheduled to discuss how we can work together to increase student and school achievement.

Thank you for making the difference at Westside K8 School! We are proud of our great school and community!

Dr. Zundra Aubrey
